CLASS OF 2012 FUNDRAISER
The class of 2012 is having a fundraiser at Clear Refresh Bar on 3rd Avenue in San Mateo on Friday, March 19, from 12:00-7:00pm.   Have some delicious yogurt and don’t forget to mention that you’re from San Mateo High School.

CENSUS ART COMPETITION
Are you interested in spoken word performance, written poetry, graffiti art, painting, or traditional visual art?  Then we want you to submit your art for the Census Art Competition.  The deadline for submissions is Monday, March 29, by 3:30pm, to Ms. Stock, Ms. Yapp or Ms. Shiu.  Judging will take place on March 31.
Prizes include:

  • 1st Place:  iPod Touch or $210 Best Buy Gift Card
  • 2nd Place:  iPod Nano, Flip Camera or $140 Best Buy Gift Card
  • 3rd Place:  iPod Shuffle or $75 Best Buy Gift Card

Please go to www.muralmusicarts.org to register.  All registrants will receive art supplies.  Supplies will be distributed at the Open Studio session
on Thursday, March 18, from 3:00-5:00pm by C107.  If you are interested in graffiti art, a graffiti artist will be on  site at the Open Studio on March 18.

PTO SCHOLARSHIP
The PTO is offering need-based scholarships for seniors with a minimum GPA of 3.0 and a record of community service.  Packets are available in the Career Center and are due back on Monday, April 12.

ATTENTION SENIORS – GRADUATION ENTERTAINMENT & AUDITIONS
The deadline to sign up for graduation entertainment is 3:00pm TODAY in the Student Services Office.  You must be academically eligible (have a 2.0 GPA and pass 25 credits).  Auditions are being held on Tuesday, March 16, and Thursday, March 18, in Room M-2 during lunch.  You must be performance ready.
