Hiller Aviation Museum -Flight Simulator Lab

When: Friday, March 19, 2010. 2:00 p.m. (This is a minimum day with school ending at 12:30 in the SMUHSD)

How: Students will meet at the Hiller Aviation Museum. There is no transportation provided!

Where: Hiller Aviation Museum 601 Skyway San Carlos, CA 94070-2702 (Next to the San Carlos Airport)

Cost: Free!

To Register: ASAP. Send completed San Mateo Union High School District Parent Consent Form (download) to SMUHSD GATE Program to: GATE-Hiller Aviation, 650 N. Delaware Street, San Mateo, CA 94401. E-mail confirmations will be sent by March 14, 2010.

Deadline: Each school is allotted an equitable number of slots and those are based upon a distribution formula. SMUHSD GATE no longer uses a first come first served method of selection. If a school’s allocation fills up, a waiting list will be formed. After March 14, those on the waiting list will fill any space that is not taken..

Cancellations: Please contact Mr. Nelson ASAP if you need to cancel your space on the trip.

We received 67 applicants for 25 seats. This workshop was limited to high school GATE seniors. The names and schools of the students selected are listed below.

GATE Live TV Workshop*
We currently have applications for 20 students. We still have limited seats available for this fantastic opportunity.

King Tut at the de-Young*
We will be taking 106 SMUHSD students to this fabulous exhibit for a private pre-opening docent led tour.
