Upcoming In-Person Financial Aid Workshop

Attend this in-person workshop if you:

  • Need help with filling out the FAFSA or CADAA
  • Have questions about the financial aid application process

 

  • Tuesday, December 2, 6 - 8 p.m. at Capuchino High School (San Bruno)
  • More in-person workshops will be scheduled in January 2026

All families-- regardless of home school-- are welcome to attend either event.

SMHS Athletic Training Complex Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

Over 150 people attended the ceremony marking the completion of the new San Mateo High School Athletic Training Complex on August 29, 2025!

The ceremony was emcee’d by SMHS Principal Yvonne Shiu. Several dignitaries spoke at the event, including SMUHSD Board President Robert Griffin (Class of 1967), Citizens Oversight Committee Member Erica Lyons, San Mateo City Councilmember Lisa Diaz Nash, SMHS Athletic Director Jeff Scheller; SMHS Athletic Boosters President Shari Countryman and student athletes Kai La Grille and Ariana Mosca.
