Mike Holtz, Assistant Principal

Mr. Mike Holtz

Mike Holtz is in his seventh year as an Assistant Principal at San Mateo High School. Prior to joining the Bearcat family, Mr. Holtz worked as an English teacher and department chair at Capuchino High School while also serving as the English Curriculum Coordinator for San Mateo Union High School District. Additionally, he taught English at La Quinta and Palm Desert High Schools in Southern California as well as Menlo-Atherton High School in the Bay Area.

Mr. Holtz completed undergraduate degrees in English and Secondary Education at the State University of New York at Oswego.  He later earned his M.S. in Educational Leadership and Administrative Services Credential from California State University, East Bay.
