We have some exciting dance events coming up this school year! All students must attend school regularly in order to participate. Students who do not attend school on the day of the dance will not be admitted. All tickets are non-refundable and non-transferrable. Prior to each dance, students will have two weeks to submit a clearance pass indicating they are eligible to purchase a dance ticket. All clearance forms will be available on the SMHS website and Canvas. To be eligible, students cannot have more than 8 periods with truancies/unexcused absences (attendance codes, T, U) and 30+ min tardies (attendance code B) in a month prior to the event and they cannot have any outstanding detentions on record. Students and families will receive emails monthly with a summary of the month's attendance and their eligibility to participate in student activities. All students must sign the Student Dance Agreement prior to attending any dances, each year. This will be added to the clearance form prior to be eligible to purchase a dance ticket.
